All the branches are having the required laboratories/workshops with sophisticated equipments. Expert teaching and non teaching staff to train the students to professional level. Further there are facilities in the labs to do researches, project works, R & D works, consultancy work to induct confidence and improve a student to learn and understand practical reactivity of the subjects.

Library Mission:

To provide continuous access to the knowledge and Information for the students and faculty of an Institute for achieving excellence in their chosen disciplines.

Library Information:

Library the treasure house of information is the nerve center of intellectual activity of institution. SJMIT Central Library is located in an independent spacious block with area of 890 sqm, at present library has 35,000 books covering all branches of engineering. It has subscribed 145National & International journal.

Library Facility:

Library follows an open access system, and library is computerized with easylib software.
    Library has reference section that consists of text books, year books, encyclopedias, dictionaries and hand books. It has a good collection of BIS specifications, project reports, CD’s, Gate & VTU question papers.
Library has book bank scheme for SC/ST students sponsored by Govt. of Karnataka. Library has reprography facility. Library has separate reading room and news paper section provided in the library.

Mon to Fri : 9:00 am to 12:00 midnight
Sat : 9:00 am to 6:00 pm
Sunday : 10:00 am to 2:00
