INCUBATION CENTER |

The Information Technology - Incubation Center (IT-IC) was established in the year of 2002-03 at SJMIT campus. Funded by IT-Department, Govt. of Karnataka, SJM Vidyapeetha provided land and building for the development of the same.
Sophisticated with Optical fiber cabling network (OFCN), IT-IC provides training to its candidates about the use of OFCN in different manufacturing |

technology and practical situations. The training is carried out by means of CD presentation etc. |
|
Under the banner of IT-IC, the department has taken up Mahithi Sindhu Program, funded by Govt of Karnataka, which includes the inspection of computers training to students etc in 33 schools of Chitradurga district and some data processing is carried out in IT-IC.
|
|
In IT-IC, 64KBPS leased line Internet facility is established with the help of main computer center of our institution which benefits many of the trainees such as Project trainees, EDP-Trainees, PMRY- trainees and others by downloading a large no. of recent project works, software etc. This helps quite a lot in their career development. |
